Government at all levels in Nigeria have been advised to focus on empowerment of women and other vulnerable groups in the society for rapid socioeconomic development.

The Convener, Civil society organizations, Monalisa Chinda made the appeal in Abuja at a news conference declared the readiness of the organization to partner with stakeholders in empowering Women and Youth in Business across the Nation, especially at the grassroot level.

Chinda said the partnership will aid in stabilizing lives in the current economy challenges been faced in Nigeria.
She stated that over 300 people have registered for the empowerment scheme, but 10 people will be beneficiaries of the programme through proper selection, mentorship, accountability and leadership training.

The Convener of the organization solicited more support from government for continuation and also, to aid in providing Jobs to youth and women at the grassroots level...
