Sit-At-Home Order Receive Massive Compliance in Southeast

The sit at home order by the leader of IPOB/ESN Nnamdi Kanu on Monday the 31sth has received serious acceptance by the people of the southeastern states.

In Umahia the Abia state capital where Galaxy TV News crew monitored level of compliance eateries, shops, banks and other business activities were seen shutdown completely in all major areas of the city.  

Some residents who spoke off-camera said that the sit at home order is been held annually by every Igbo sons and daughters all over the world to remember those who died for the freedom of Biafra, especially those who died in the Biafra civil war which started in 1967 and lasted for three years.

While some said that the activities will have a negative effect on their businesses, they said the exercise was worth it, following what the zone had been through.

They lament over the hardship in the country and asked that the federal government do the needful to get the country bettered in the nearest future.

Correspondent Ajibade Awofeso reports that the massive compliance rate cut across the entire  Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo the five southeastern state as ordered by the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
