BENUE APC GOV APPEAL PANEL: Gemade, Former Agf, And Two others Seek Nullification of APC Gov Primary

 Four APC Governorship Aspirants in Benue State have petitioned the APC Governorship Committee set up to investigate the controversy which trailed the recently just concluded primary conducted this past weekend.

 The petitioner, Senator Barnabas GEMADE, former Attorney general of the federation, Michael Aondokaa, (SAN), Professor Terhemen Shija, and Mathias BYUAN, in their prayers before the three-man panel headed by Princess Ugoman Uchema, are demanding nullification of the primary and to re-conduct another primary in line with party rules and the published mode of primary.

 Senator GEMADE former BOT chairman of PDP who alleges malfeasance to have taken place without following the mode of primary prescribed by the party amount to sham, calling on the panel to look at all issues dispassionately with a view to ensure that APC Benue's present Governorship candidate in order to avoid the zamfara episode.

 Meanwhile, other aspirants former attorney general of the federation, Aondokaa, (SAN), Professor Shija, and Byuam, all said what took place on the 27th of May was an aberration against democracy which should not be allowed to stand with clear evidence against party leaders and officials.

 However, the chairman of the Appeal panel, Princess Ugoama Ucheama, assured them that their petition will be looked into it and appealed to them to remain that the party will revert to them.It would be recalled that the last governorship primary threw up the suspended catholic priest as the candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election, the process which is now been faulted.
