Senator says 2024 appropriation bill will bring succour to Nigerians
Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Solomon Adeola has assured Nigerians that the 2024 appropriation bill of N28.7trillion would put an end to hunger in the land.
 
Adeola representing Ogun West at the Red Chambers stated this while responding to questions from journalists at the sideline of a new year programme to appreciate his constituents in ilaro, Yewa South local government area of Ogun state. 
 
The senator reiterated that President Bola Tinubu is determined to end the economic hardship faced by Nigerians, as evident with the immediacy with which he signed the 2024 budget into law.
 
He explained that out of the N28.7trillion appropriation bill signed by the president, Agricultural alone gulped over N300billion, saying that it was a sign that the present administration meant business.
 
He also added that the country would be concentrating so much on food production this year.
